Lone Longhorn goes for gold today…


Helen Upperton endured Austin summers to compete in the triple jump at the University of Texas. The Kuwait-born athlete then moved to Canada in 2002 to begin her bobsleigh career, finishing 4th in the Torino Olympics in 2006. She represents Canada today in her gold medal run in the bobsleigh.
